Happy anniversary to my cousin and husband. Good eats and drinks at Nelson’s in the Whit, followed by my first ever Glam Rock/Metal “concert.” Concert in quotes because it was in someone’s front yard as part of the Eugene Porch Fest in the Whit (self-described as Eugene’s arts & counter culture neighborhood).

Band was GlitzKrieg. The guitarist in red, Ron, is a friend of my cousin and her husband. After their set, we walked back to the restaurant for dessert and to keep Ron’s wife (also a friend) company while she ate.
